Our machine learning continuously adapts and tailors predictions to your specific context, improving accuracy over time.

Whether you're hiring 5 or 5,000, ethyx scales effortlessly without losing accuracy or speed.

Minimal technical hassle. Works with your current ATS, HRIS, and recruitment workflow.

Tamper tracking and inauthentic input detection ensure you get genuine insights, not rehearsed answers.
As with all ethyx projects, we tailor every product to your specific circumstances, sector and inherent knowledge. This enables us not only to predict what will happen, but prescribe what to do to encourage or prevent that happening.

According to Deloitte data, our reduction in staff churn by 10% (56% - 46%) will save our client at least $535,000 a year. A fast 10 X return on investment.

Did you know that NPS is NOT predictive of customer churn? Our 3-minute assessment could reveal whether your key clients are about to drop you…or whether you can upsell to them.

We are able to finally predict genuine psychological capital strengths, drivers of engagement and job success. All with a 5-minute assessment, not an hour-long psychometric alienation session.

The Solution He Built
Dr Darren Coppin has spent 25 years and a PhD figuring out what predicts human commitment, behaviour and action. Sometimes the answers are hiding in plain sight, sometimes they’re found by ‘sweating the small stuff’ and data analytics. Other times, a big idea and initiative can turn things around. His deep research has focused on the things that really matter to people: wellbeing, resilience, mindset, relatedness, commitment, authenticity, autonomy and, well, what makes humans human. And often this means boiling down research and surveys to the things that really matter, in plain language.
Why Organisations Trust Dr D
This research, validated across government programs in seven countries and published in journals such as the Journal of Rehabilitation, provides the scientific foundation for ethyx.Darren has worked with billionaires, Prime Ministers, Ministers, Senators, senior public servants and CEOs globally. But his core inspiration always comes from the person on the street. Focusing on barriers, issues and failings – a pathological approach – can get your understanding. But it doesn’t deliver effective solutions. Have exit interviews ever helped you reduce churn? Or have interviews with those who have performed well delivered much better insights?
Powerfully mentored by Professor Felicia Huppert (world leader in wellbeing science) and inspired by preeminent scientist and pragmatist friends around the world, Darren completed his PhD at ACU and his MBA at Cranfield, where students voted him 'Most Likely to Succeed'…although the lecturers weren't so sure.
His first book on the origins of modern human behaviour - “It’s All B.S. (behavioural science)” will be published in late 2026. When not predicting human behaviour, he's at his farm with his two young lads panning for gold, playing soccer and blowing the didgeridoo. All badly.

The Products He Builds
Devon believes software should be simple, beautiful and built to solve real problems.
As Director of Product, Devon combines close to a decade of experience across SaaS, HR technology, recruitment, aged care and disability sectors with a design philosophy grounded in human experience.
He graduated from Falmouth University, widely regarded as one of Europe’s leading design institutions where the focus wasn’t on pixels or print, but on how humans interact with systems, environments and ideas.
That untraditional design foundation continues to guide every product he builds.
Devon starts with people. How does it feel? Where is the friction? What actually matters to the person using it every day? From there, technology becomes the enabler, not the hero.
He has designed and implemented complex AI solutions in highly regulated industries, helping organisations automate HR processes, modernise legacy systems and bring practical intelligence into operational workflows. His work has supported enterprise and Fortune 500 environments, embedding AI in ways that are usable, compliant and commercially sound.
But for Devon, the measure of success isn’t technical sophistication — it’s whether the product genuinely improves how someone works.
Why Organisations Trust Devon
Devon’s experience spans recruitment systems, SaaS platforms, compliance tools and workforce technology across aged care and disability services. He understands the realities of regulated environments, tight operational margins and the need for systems that work reliably under pressure.
His product philosophy is simple: development should be delivered for the client’s needs and timelines — not the developer’s capabilities or convenience.
That means clear scopes, thoughtful prioritisation, early value delivery and constant alignment with business objectives. It means translating complex AI into tools frontline teams can actually use. It means designing systems that scale, without overwhelming users.
Devon believes the best software doesn’t feel like software at all. It feels intuitive. Invisible. Effortless.
When technology quietly removes friction and lets people focus on what truly matters — that’s when product has done its job.
